I called ahead to schedule a smog inspection and was told that I have to come by during a narrow time window if I wanted a same day appointment. Then, I inquired if he accepted phone or fax credit card payments, and the answer is no. Obviously they're doing such volume of business that the individual customer's needs aren't really important. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Katie, unfortunately some days our schedule is full and we are unable to accept same day service requests . We do the best we can to accommodate every request without putting off vehicles currently at the shop, or customers who have made prior appointments. The reason we do not accept fax credit cards payments is simply because of the major changes in the credit card processing system that took place nationally last October with the EMV chip processing. They have increased the security process to protect the cardholders. We're sorry we weren't able to help you.
